Would you like to be a Support Person or a Support Family?
The Wellbeing services county of East Uusimaa is looking for support families and support persons for customers in the area. The customers and families have different needs for support and different life situations. The unique needs of the customers and families mean that there is a need to recruit different kinds of supporting people and families; people of different age and/or with different cultural backgrounds, who have unique skills and knowledge.
What we require from you
- your personal life situation and relationships are in order
- you have time and space for someone else’s child, a young person, an adult or an elderly person
- you know how to support people and want to support people, even if their situations can sometimes be demanding
- you know how to work together with someone who needs support, and his or her loved ones and his or her employees
- you know how to face people who are different and tolerate diversity
- you are positive and open-minded
- you are flexible and ready to make a commitment.
What we offer you

If you are interested in working as a support person or a support family, please fill in the form. We will then contact you and ask for more information. We can also talk about participating in the training course. Even if you give us more information or participate in the training course, it does not mean you have to become a support person or a support family. You will decide if you want to become a support person or a support family and if you want to take it as your responsibility after you have done the course.
