The Open Services of the Substance Abuse Services

The Open Services of the Substance Abuse Services help if you have problems with the use of alcohol, drugs, or other substances. At Open Services you will meet the Wellbeing services county’s professional worker on a regular basis. You can come to the service without an appointment. Our services are free of charge.
Be brave and speak with your loved ones if you are concerned about your own or someone else’s use of alcohol or drugs. All health centres can tell you where you can get support.
Substance abuse services for adults are meant for people over 22 years. Detoxification treatment is for 18 years old and above. Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services for Young People(siirryt toiseen palveluun) treat people aged 13–21.

You can cancel your appointment by voicemail 24 hours a day. When doing so, tell your name, date of birth and what appointment you want to cancel. Tell also, if you want the nurse to call you back or not.
Use secure mail if your message contains confidential information. Instructions for sending secure mail can be found above under “Secure Mail.”
You can contact us by email if the matter is not urgent, or if you are an authority. Do not send classified/secret information by email! There is no guarantee of secrecy when you send emails. All mental health service employees read emails.
