Tämän sivun sisältö
Rehabilitative work activities help if you do not have work, or if you have a limitation. The limitation can make it difficult for you, for example, to work or to cope with everyday life. Limitations like this can be, for example:
- problems with mental health
- problems with the use of alcohol or drugs
- problems with physical well-being.
Rehabilitative work activities help you with, for example, life management. We help you also to find work and educate yourself. Remember that the wellbeing services county always estimates separately if you can receive a service or support. Each person’s situation is different and there are exact rules for providing different services.
Rehabilitative work activities give you the possibility to do different work tasks, or you can take part in group activities. Besides this, a professional guides you personally. You can join rehabilitative work activities 1–4 days a week, four hours a day. Rehabilitative work activities last at least three months.
We will make an agreement on your goals and on how to carry out the rehabilitative work activities. During the rehabilitative work activities
- you get unemployment benefit as usual
- you get compensation for the days when you have work activities
- you get compensation for the cost of travel.
The Social Services help you start rehabilitative work activities. The employment office can give you more information, or you can contact us by filling in a form
