The Social Counsellor at the police station
- estimates if the young person needs social work or other help

- supervises the interests of children under the age of 18 when the police questions and interviews them
- supervises the court hearings of young people of ages between 15 and 17 years
- helps different people or organisations to work together

An authority may direct you to Ankkuri activities if you are under 15 years of age and
- you have done something illegal
- you use alcohol or drugs
- you have other difficulties with your health or mental health.
The Social Ccounsellor at the police station often works together with the Ankkuri team.
