Vaccinations prevent the spread of infectious diseases. You can get vaccinations from your local health centre. It is voluntary to get vaccinations. Vaccines included in the national vaccination programme are free. On this page we will tell you more about vaccinations in the wellbeing services county.
The following vaccines for adults, for example, are included in the national vaccination programme:
- tetanus
- diphtheria
- whooping cough (dT or dtap)
- measles
- mumps
- German measles

Please contact the child health clinic if you want to talk about vaccines for children.
- Children under the age of 7 get their vaccinations at the child health clinic.
- Children of school age get vaccinations via the school health care.
