Contact the Contraceptive and Family Planning Clinic if
- you want to start using contraceptives
- you need to exchange your coil or contraceptive capsule (appointment by phone)
- you want to know if you have a sexually transmitted disease (if you are using a hormonal contraceptive or coil)
- it is difficult for you to get pregnant.
Please contact your health centre if you want to know if you have a sexually transmitted disease and you are not using a hormonal contraceptive or coil.
Free of charge for people under 20 years of age
People under 20 years of age receive contraception free of charge in the wellbeing services county of East Uusimaa. The contraceptives can be:
- condoms
- birth control pills
- contraceptive patch or intravaginal ring
- contraceptive implant
- hormone coil
- copper intrauterine device.
