Koivula

Koivula is a supported housing unit in the wellbeing services county of East Uusimaa, Porvoo. It is aimed at people aged 24 to 64 who have faced mental health and substance abuse challenges and who need support for their housing in accordance with the Social Welfare Act. If you need services of the unit, please contact the housing services for people in working age. The housing is based on a decision in accordance with the Social Welfare Act and a leasing agreement.

The aim of the Koivula unit is to create a safe and peaceful environment for the residents so the rehabilitation can progress. The resident receives support and guidance when needed, for example, for managing everyday life, using services outside the home, contacting authorities, and interaction in different situations. The aim of the service is to promote the residents’ ability to function in their daily activities. The need for service is regularly assessed.
