Appointment booking for seasonal vaccination at East Uusimaa wellbeing services county opens on 21 October

Beginning at 9 a.m. on 21 October 2024 you can make an appointment for seasonal vaccination provided by East Uusimaa wellbeing services county. Seasonal vaccines include influenza vaccines, coronavirus vaccines and pneumococcal vaccines. The administration of seasonal vaccines will begin at the health centre vaccination points within East Uusimaa wellbeing services county in week 44, i.e. the week beginning on 28 October.

Making an appointment for seasonal vaccination

You may make an appointment for seasonal vaccination at any health centre vaccination point within East Uusimaa wellbeing services county. Make an appointment for having the vaccination administered at your own health centre.

Make an appointment primarily using the online booking service. You will find the booking links on the wellbeing services county’s online service page Rokotukset (Vaccination)(siirryt toiseen palveluun), beginning on 21 October when the booking starts.

If you are not able to use the online booking system, you may make an appointment for vaccination by calling. Call your local appointment number.

If you belong to a group that has been recommended to receive both the influenza and the coronavirus vaccine, you may have the vaccines at the same visit. When making the appointment, please mention that you intend to have both vaccines. If you have already received a coronavirus vaccine dose this autumn, please make an appointment for influenza vaccination only. If you belong to a group that has been recommended to receive the pneumococcal vaccine, you may have this vaccine at the same time as the influenza and the coronavirus vaccine.

Call the appointment service only once

There is now a rush in the vaccination booking telephone service, as the coronavirus vaccinations and the appointment booking for risk groups have already begun. We respond to all missed call requests, so please call only once and wait for a call-back. Repeated calls will further congest the telephone service.

Vaccination appointments cannot be booked by turning to the health centre directly.

Check what free vaccines you are entitled to

Check the wellbeing services county’s online service page Rokotukset (Vaccination)(siirryt toiseen palveluun) for information about who is recommended to have the vaccines and who is entitled to free seasonal vaccination.

If you are not entitled to free influenza vaccination or pneumococcal vaccination, you can check whether the occupational health care, a private health centre or a pharmacy is able to provide the vaccine. The influenza vaccine and the pneumococcal vaccine can be purchased from a pharmacy provided that you have a prescription, which can be requested from the health centre vaccination line. You may go with the influenza vaccine and the pneumococcal vaccine to your own health centre to have it administered, by appointment only.
